Joey Benadretti named AEA award finalist
Joey Benadretti of enterprise business solutions provider Syspro has been named a finalist for the High Impact Person of the Year category of the American Electronics Association's 14th Annual High Tech Innovation Awards. The Irvine resident has more than 25 years' experience in working with manufacturers and distributors. Benadretti has extensive experience in working with industry consultants, analyst firms and editors and is active in the business and software community. He serves on editorial advisory panels for several industry publications. Benadretti is highly regarded for his marketing capabilities, strategic initiatives and thought leadership, Syspro stated. The association will present the awards May 10 in Newport Beach. The awards honor companies, individuals and products in the technology field that drive innovation in Orange County and the Inland Empire.

Alan Freisleben appointed vice chair of water panel
Alan Freisleben of Irvine law firm Picker, Chow & Freisleben has been appointed vice chair of the City of San Juan Capistrano Water Advisory Commission. Freisleben had previously been a general member of the commission's board. A trial lawyer for the past 29 years, Freisleben specializes in all aspects of dispute resolution, complex civil litigation, business and employment litigation and insurance law. He has spoken extensively on the legal aspects of insurance and employment law as well as insurance claims and practices.
